About me
I was in the classroom for 20 years teaching grades 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th. I've taught all subjects. I hold a bachelor's degree in education with a minor in English and a master's degree in educational leadership. I hold certificates for ESL, MTSS, GT, and Principalship. My mission is to advocate for the consistent implementation of the social studies curriculum in K-12 classrooms and to support teachers in setting conditions in their classrooms to assist students in building the critical thinking patterns, literacy skills, and experiences to contribute as global citizens.
